I took a trip back to my parents’ house in Japan back in May. One of the things I look forward to is the flowers my mom has in her yard and in pots around the house. Roses seem to be her favorite for the past few years. I like roses especially the ones that have fully bloomed.

5月に日本の実家に戻った。両親に会う以外に楽しみにしているのは、母が庭や鉢植えで家のところどころに置いている花。ここ数年は薔薇が母のお気に入りらしい。僕も薔薇は好きで、特に咲き開いているものが好き。
